I have also thought about changing the boring ones on the valk but I am skeptical about the quality of the ones for sale.

I bought one rotor for the front of my Interstate, not the wave style, but the replacement style. Looks just about exactly like the stock style. It will rust overnight in the high humidity enough to make noise going down the road. I have had the pads lock to the rotor over the winter. Never bad enough to stop the bike, but bad enough. I paid about 1/3 the price of a new stock one, but Wish I had gone with stock. HOWEVER, the rotor shows no wear after 30,000 miles, and wears brake pads at the same rate as the stock rotor. If you replace your stock rotors withe the wave style, you will need to use EBC pads as well. cooldude
