Bought a new/used set from a member here.  Went to install them and found that the bolt heads for the fork clamps were all striped.  Called Big Bike where they came from, but they only sell 'kits' which include the clamps.  Where can I get them.  Tried HomoDepot/Advance Auto etc with no luck.  They are a M4x.70x15mm -  Allen heads.  AA had hex heads, but I can't get a socket in there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they're stripped, get some Heli-coil's in 'em. Go to an auto parts store, they'll have em

The allen heads are striped so I can't tighten them on.   I think I found them at bolt depot.com.  $1 for 8 but $9.50 shipping tickedoff

If you cannot find replacements easily, can you slot the heads for a flathead screwdriver?

Fastenal should have what you need. Those bolts are junk from what I remember when installing mine.

I'll try fastenal Monday.  And yes, they are junk.  I ground a slit in them for a flat screw driver and they just rounded off.
Everything else seems to be well built on them.
