WHAT????  we can alter ours like crazy. gut the mufflers, put fake air intakes, put aftermarket everything on it. change paint. cut fenders. and a thousand other things and it's ok.

but let a guy change his vespa and this!

sorry. i'll bet he's JUST as proud of his as you are of yours.

Engine great, brakes are terrible.

In many urban areas (and States) you don't have to title/tag/insure/wear helmet/park at a meter and pay (they park at bicycle racks for free)/or have a MC endorsement on your license, with a 49cc Vespa/scooter.  So many buy a 150 or 250cc Vespa/scooter and replace all the external badging/tags with 50cc stuff.  Outside the bodywork, most cannot tell what size engine the Vespa has.   This is a very good scam for city dwellers.

Cannot do that with this one.
