 Anybody know if the black plastic piece that has the air vent for the cowling or pod still available somewhere? I have a 2000 and looking for the left one because I might slice an dice the original to install a couple of things and then in the future maybe put things back the were.

You can find them used from time to time, but the price is usually still high. Start keeping your eyes open. I've also contemplated modifying the pods to mount things, and then did not for the same reason your talking about.

Dave , If you see this give me a call, maybe I'll buy yours. Still not sure if i'm going to bore holes in mine or use some tin but I'm going to make a move before noon today. Need to mount a guage, and sw. plus air release button for my air shocks. been busy with life in general pluss these damn coons around here are like a 3 ring circus, I'm being over run and have to live trap them or the girls around here would have me in jail.
