When I stand her up from the kick stand, I am now hearing a slight hiss from the front forks. Am I due for a seal replacement? No fluid or oil leaking anywhere.

Probably not. Age and mileage on bike?? If you have no leaks, I wouldn't worry.

This may sound silly, but are you sure it isn't from the gas tank vent? mine will hiss sometimes when i stand her up, think it is because I sloshed the fuel a little when it is warm out.

Are you sure it's not a snake like that one video that was posted? I'd double and triple check for that! Cheesy

Hi,
I've played with my front forks way too much (don't read anything into that!    laugh).  Changing springs and oil weights.  The good side is that I now have a nice plush front end (don't read anything into that either!   Cheesy).

Anyway, during doing all that, I also had the fork hissing now and again.  I didn't mind it and thought it was kind of cool.  It would do it during bumps, too.  I believe it came from air squeezing out through the top caps.  I don't have it anymore.  The last time I was in there, I must have tightened them up a bit better.  Or maybe they just sealed better.

That's my .02.
