Back about '77 a friend of mine and I jumped on a greyhound bus to Saganaw Texas  uglystupid2  to get a job working for Borton Construction, building a Grain Elevator. Got off the bus bout 2am out in the middle of nowhere Texas on a dark, drizzly night. Walked maybe 4 miles to the town, and went into a, I think it was a Denny's Restaurant. Must have been 200 redneck construction workers in there. Evil  When we walked in, with our looong hair, scraggly beards, and the requisite jean jackets and Levi's Big Bells jeans, I swear, the place went dead silent!  Shocked Could've heard a pin drop.   Undecided We left, and caught the next bus home.  Roll Eyes Hippie's and rednecks. A volatile mix back in the 70's! 2funny
Sooo glad I survived long enough to outgrow that period of my life!!  cooldude
This song always reminds me of that "adventure".

My wife and I sat in the second row, center seats at one of Joe Bonamassa's shows at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. This guys rocks and his guitar playing is unbelieveable. I've got every CD he has put out, as well as his Live at Royal Albert Hall DVD.

I really like Travelin Man.  Seems like a song that a guy out on a motorcycle would be humming as he rode along (or listening to on MP3).  One of my favorites though is this:
