I know my green and black tourer is rare etc etc.But I dont like the green. It was all green then they put the black accents on over the green.Thats the way it was made.My front fender has a scratch on the black part and green is showing through. I dontlike that shade of green.its too pastel, too something, i dont like it.I cant afford more tins so i can keep the originals etc. Have you ever seen denny berg's yellow valkyrie? Thats what i want,1 bright color, nothing hiding the wheels suchas my saddlebags, preferably a small dark tinted windscreen not the big tourer windshield, and i dont even want the sissybar and back pad to ruin the looks of what the bike was intended to be.A hot rod.Just the motor and handlebars, pure sex on 2 wheels.Celebrate the engine. No I aint selling my bags, rack and pad and windshield.I will keep them for just in case.I have interstate mufflers on it now, really like the look.straight and smooth and long simple lines.

I dont like yellow.Do you think a valkyrie is too big or would look stupid in fire engine red? I dont want no flames or scallops.it would be easier to paint i all black. The frame is black, the sidecovers are black, the driveshaft is black. But other guys have black valkyries.Maybe metallic black with a charcoal racing stripe down the middle of the tank and each fender. Then the wheels are that silver color. That would kind of go with what i just said.please dont say its your bike, do what you want that makes you happy. Say instead heck no, red is too bright, or black and grey is ok, or anything but dont ask me for my touring accessories. But I want my hotrod to lok like a hot rod.in europe they just buy themotorcycle. They dont put all this crap on their bikes, they just show off the bike and ride.OK, I will shut up now.

A friend of mine painted his Valk red. I'm not sure of the exact shade. It looks a bit more orange in the photo than it does in real life. (I'll see if I can find better pics) It looks pretty nice. I think I'd add something, pin stripes, decals, or bling to break up the red though.

OK, found a better pic

Thanks for the great pictures.I was thinking about a brighter red than that. And I agree, some tasteful accents of a different color or pinstripes would really make it pop.
