my 97 standard exhaust

Just bought my 2nd Valk, a 97 standard with trigger installed, k&n air filter, and cobra 6 into 6 with a cobra jet kit installed and baffles in. I love the sound of these pipes, but , with the baffles out, but as soon as I took them out it started popping, how do i remedy this so i can run without baffles?? thanks ,baffled in ocala.........p.s. am new to vrc, hope I posted correctly?

I have no knowledge on Cobra pipes to help but I noticed your in Ocala! Same here! If the weather is good, come on up to bike night Thursdays at Silver Springs Walmart. We usually start gathering around 6pm or so. All types of bikes gather there (sometimes up to 50 or so bikes) including any where from 3 Valks to 6 or 7, sometimes more! Lots of knowledge to be shared there, all questions welcome, and a great bunch of guys! Hope you'll join us!

If I interpreted your question correctly, run w/ or wo/baffles anytime.   Not going to happen and run correctly.

You have to settle for baffles, or no baffles, and run that way all the time.  NO going back and forth without your so called popping....

Baffles out - re jet
Baffles in - leave as is.....
