I love the fairing but the windshield is too short at 10".   10" is the tallest the company offers for the fairing.  I was going to modify a Harley aftermarket but passed until I did more research.  I called Memphis Shades but they said they MAY make a taller one at some later date.

I found a solution at   http://www.customflhtwindshields.net .  The owner is Pat. He has been making aftermarket windshields for Harleys for sometime.  . Pat bought a Memphis Shades fairing for his wife's bike so he has the pattern.   He knows that many of us would like a taller/wider windshield.  He is starting to make them for the Memphis Shades fairing.

I'm ordering a 14" from him today.  Sounds like he can make them taller.  His prices are very reasonable. I hope this helps some of you looking for a taller touring fairing.

Indeed it does - thanks for the information. I'll probably get a 14-16" version for colder weather use.

I was thinking about what you were saying about windshield. I wonder if the TrikeShop windshields would work on the MS. they have a bunch of different ones. Check out  (  trikeshop.com  )

Dan

I know the hole pattern for the Memphis Shades fairing is different than the Harley fairing hole pattern. You could drill new holes in a Harley style windshield.  The owner of the link I posted, Pat, drills the pattern for the Memphis Shades fairing

I don't know if this would help. The bottom of the shield is flat and from tip to tip is about 23 3/8".  The shield has five holes about 1/4". From the center hole to the second  hole is 5 1/4" and from the second hole from  the center to the end hole is 5 3/8" .  Now from tip to tip to the highest distance of the arc is 4" .
This is a TrikeShop shield I have.
