I spoke to Rita, John's wife today, ( Sat/14th) checking on John.  According to Rita, he is a tough ole guy and is hanging in there,  the doctors are happy with his progress to date.  Taking baby steps forward.  He is responding to commands which is good as there were thoughts of brain damage during the attacks... considering taking him off the ventilator in a day or two, so that will be the next big step.  He is still in and out, I did not ask about visitors but from the conversation I would say not now or for a while...still a long road ahead...keep up the prayers and the lord's will be done...

Thanks, Steve, it's good news, and the family definitely has their hands full right now. An inch at a time still gets there.

Thank you for the update on his progress. Even 1/4 steps will get you there. Prayers still up from the Ozarks.
