I grew up on dirtbikes and am interested in replacing the OEM handlebars with some that are less swept.  I still get some elbow and/or wrist fatigue after a long ride.  I like the look and feel of the dragbar-like stock VTX1800C bars (and my accessories guy at the dealership says they would fit and not require cable work) but would like to know how anyone else might have addressed this mod.  TIA, DFG

A few of the members have changed their bars.  Anything from 'Drag Bars', 'Beach Bars', to Apes!

I went with Wild1 Chubby bars ( http://www.wild1inc.com/ ).  1 1/4 diameter, originally made for HD, but fit my bike just fine...

They make many different styles, so something should trip yer trigger...  Look at their 'blem' section, to save a few $$$.

Check out the Jardines, they have several different types and a ton of different risers, Their drag bars look really good, I went the other way with their nuckle bars and 8 in curved risers.  They are billet and very different.
