What fog light LED bulb?

I am currently running 35 watt halogen light bulbs in my fog lights but I would like to change them to LED bulbs to conserve on power usage.
I know the rule of thumb is whatever the halogen bulb wattage is, divide this by ten to determine the approximate wattage of LED bulb that is equivalent. (i.e. 35 watts halogen / 10 = 3.5 watts LED).
I have tried a 3 watt clear LED bulb but it does not show up as good as the 35 watt halogen bulbs in the daytime.
Does anyone have any experience with changing to LED fog light bulbs & if so, what wattage power & colour of LED bulbs works good as visibility to others in the daytime & lumination for me in the darkness.
