Hey Doubleminded , you remember a member posted a few months ago he eliminated the choke lever at the handlebars and fabed a lever mounted at the end of the choke cable slide and drew up a diagram and posted it  ...  I myself would like to simplify the choke mechanism and totally eliminate the upper choke lever and long cable at the handlebars and just use a simple lever down low let me know at rrperez7517@satx.rr.co if your friend can do it and how much .... this idea just might get some interest ...  Thanks the Geezer  crazy2

Hey Doubleminded , yes sir he Fabed a lever mounted down below on the left leg side right behind the chrome piece that hides the choke slide .... I think that one lever worked both sides ... I wouldn't care if I had a lever for each side ... he had posted a digram with pictures of his Valk a couple of months ago , I'll try and look it up and get back with ya so you can see what I'm talking about.... Thanks Bobby ...  Thanks the Geezer  crazy2

I think I have figured out a way to make forward controls that no company has tried yet.My buddy is pouring over a commercial grade cad program right now, we are designing a custom v twin motorcycle.I doubt i can get him loose now.its a 4,000 dollar program he is getting to use for free.Any thing we make anytime soon will be for my valkyrie, therefore your valkyrie also.I have no timeframe unfortunately. We couldnt pass up te cad opportunity.Guys like OCC just start slapping things together and then oops it dont fit, lets re do it somehow and make it look like we did it on purpose.Nope.CAD gives you a headsup so you dont have so much trial and error .

Well, thanks for the acknowledgement of the beauty of my blue and silver interstate.  It was nice of you to bring it up as the best looking Valk on the forum. Although I think Six Gun's teal and black is nice, too.  Certainly a valid runner-up to mine. coolsmiley

Think someone could loan him a 'heel shifter'? I'd pay well for a kicker.

What i am working on is akingoff the crashbars, reshaping them to square tubing, making right side brake pedal and footpeg mount on rearward most bolt of the crash bars and devising some way for second anchor point, possibly wiht strap stell to the new square configured crash bar.not sure yet.
