To everyone that can jump on their bikes and enjoy this beautiful weather, please take a minute to email a brother who can't. Good spirits make for good mending. Just a quick note can make a big difference.

If you ever have been laid-up or a care giver, you will understand just how much a note from the real world means. Keep them coming folks! See below!

Jim Orr today from Chandler, OK. He just popped in to check on us and the visit surely was appreciated!

Boy, there sure was a stack of emails today! They do lift Carl's spirits and it does him well to hear from our VRCC family!

Nothing new to report on Carl, however. He still has the chest tube, but is doing everything they are telling him to do. It will just take some time for him to heal. He is still in the ICU, and we aren't sure when they will be moving him again. The doctor said yesterday that they will not move him again until they are sure he is ready, because according to the doctor, they learn by their mistakes.

Thanks again to everyone for remembering us with all the cards, emails and especially the thoughts and prayers.
