Me too!!  Me too!!

In LQ Denton for the night.  Dodged thunder boomers coming around the East side of Dallas.  We worked a half day, well, almost 6 hours.  Smiley

Arrived here this evening.. Came straight up from Dallas thru Oklahoma.... I don't think there is a spot of shade in that whole damn state.. Not that I could find @ any of my stops,anyway.. Just couldn't seem to stay hydrated enough. My biggest concern today was Dallas traffic, but compared to Fayetteville's 5pm rush hour it was a breeze.

We have stopped in Texarkana for the night.  Temps around 100, saw 103 on my thermometer at one time today.  About 7 hours on the road and off around 1:00.  Could have been a lot worse.

See all tomorrow hopefully.

Hwy 96 wasn't to bad, lots of shaded areas. Rode I-30 to Hope, Ark, then a nice easy ride on Hwy 67 North to Arkadelphia. I-30 was to fast and hot for me. Ride Safely. Looking forward to meet everyone tomorrow.

After meeting up in Denton for breakfast at 0630, BJ & HayHauler + Hollyday & Thagandy + Big Ed + Disco are in Mena, AR.  We mixed in Robbers Cave and Runestone Park and did about 350 miles today.  It was hot.  Triple digits...

Big Thumbs Up to Big Ed for choosing (and surviving) today to shatter his previous record of Denton to Denison.    cooldude

Looking forward to tomorrow's ride up 23 and seeing everyone in Eureka Springs!
