OK, I know I'm breaking the most sacred rule for arguing with conspiracy theorists ("Don't argue with conspiracy theorists"), but:

http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/multimedia/lroimages/apollosites.html
Look at the images on the above linked page.  They don't just show space junk.  They show FOOTPRINTS.  The actual path that a man (two men, actually) used to walk ON THE FREAKIN MOON!  I know that the response will be "that's a NASA site, of course they'll throw more "evidence" to the public", but you know what?  Seeing a human footpath on the moon is downright cool.
I wish I could honestly say I don't care what you believe, but I do care.  I want people to understand just how amazing some of our accomplishments are.
It bothers me when people downplay the accomplishments of the human race.  It bothers me when logic won't sway their opinions.

Don't get me wrong, I have no doubts that man has gone to space.  I just don't think that a man has been to the moon.

The reason's I don't believe are:

1. Why could they not use the space suits to clean up Three Mile Island and Chernobyl.  If they can withstand the radiation from the sun when they were on the moon, surely they could hold up to the radiation found in the reactors.
2. On two separate missions they have pictures of the exact same landscape but in the second picture there is no signs of the rover or of any evidence it was there.
3. When the lander landed and they show the bottom of the lander, the foil around the bottom does not have any dust on it.
4. When the lander landed no crater was formed by the thrusters and hardly any dust was kicked up but when Aldrin steps out he can leave a foot print on the ground.
5. The triple thrusters on the lander were not perfected.  They had enough of a problem trying to get the F35 to work properly these days.  The Harrier, built in the 60's was unreliable and I doubt the US gov't would try it on a space craft, but you never know.  It was the space race.

But, If I ever saw proof from an impartial third party that the rover is up there, I would gladly give all you guys a huge apology...and buy you a beer.

Wow there's nothing like irrefutaable proof to make a person realize how wrong they have been. Because of course the images you believe in couldn't have been altered in any way by persons with an agenda?

You have NEVER seen the originals. By that I mean that you have never held an original photograph in your hand knowing the provenance of the image yet you can categorically state that some of the images you have seen are faked.

What's you source for these images? Please at least post a link showing us the proof.

I have to ask "bscrive" how old are you? I'm interested to know if you were old enough to watch the event on the TV.

I'm no spring chicken, but the original lunar landings occurred before I was born, and the last person to walk on the moon lifted off from the lunar surface 3 days after my first birthday (Apollo 17, lifted off from the moon December 14th, 1972).

And that depresses me a great deal. We should be back by now. I think it'll take the Chinese starting to enter space to get us fired up and willing to go back, but I fear even that won't be enough to get us going any more.

YOU ARE a spring chicken.

I saw it the first landing on the 17" black and white TV we all shared at boarding school in England. TV was set up in the "common room" for this special event.

Britman, give it up.  There is nothing you or anyone else can say that will change my mind.  I need real proof, not just words and pictures I have seen before.  Also, I could say the same about the pictures you talk of.  I respect all of your beliefs but it just isn't there for me.

This will be the last I bother with this.  I am bored with it.  We just go around and round.

Amazing.  Simply amazing that someone seemingly intelligent can be so blind as to refuse to see the truth.   uglystupid2

Wow, all I ask are simple questions.

Simple questions it seems you can't or aren't willing to answer.

Some people are just way too invested in their delusions to give them up.  Its like a defeat of some sort.  Some people are so attached to their delusion that even proof of it being untrue cannot break it because they think (subconciously) somehow they will cease being who they are if that delusion somehow isint true.

You cannot convince these people with reason.......
