Is this the valve?

I installed this one on my ride and it's been working fine. It has the 1/8 inch inlet and outlet.

I'd suggest you follow these excellent instructions from MarkT. I'm glad I did everytime I press the start button. http://horseapple.com/Valkyrie/Tech_Tips/Fuel_Shutoff/fuel_shutoff.html

All the best,

I keep thinking I might get one of those but the fuel line is 3/8". Will it work at full throttle through a 1/8" inlet/outlet? My riding mower has a bigger fuel line than that.

The DanMarc fittings are not 1/8",,,They're 3/8"  openings on both ends.  The fuel line is 5/16" ID.  You'll use an adapter with a 3/8 threaded fitting with a 5/16 barbed hose fitting.  I've got one, and no problems with flow at any speed.

I don't think the DanMarc fittings are only 1/8",,,The fuel line is 5/16" ID.  I've got one, and no problems with flow at any speed.

The inlet/outlet fittings are 1/8 NPT.  They do have fuel solenoids with larger fittings but they are more expensive.

Gear Jammer and Mark thanks for the very important clarifications regarding the valve openings. I re-read my post above and see that it lacks specificity and could be easily misunderstood/misleading.
