I did a search and I did not notice if anyone had installed a Kisan headlight modulator without drilling a hole in the bucket for the daytime sensor. I know the daytime sensor has to be outside the bucket but was wondering if it can be run through the back of the bucket and dangle out there?

Thanks.

The sensor needs to point up.  I ran mine out the back of the bucket and zip tied it to the wires running up to the right hand switchbox.

I have a signal dynamic modulator and  mine said the sensor should be pointed down and at least 18 inches from the ground. My is zip tied to the bottom of the triple tree.

If there is room out the back of the bucket, then you're good.

Mine said either pointing straight up or down was all right.

I have found pointing up, that after sun up and before sun down and hour or 2, and it doesn't work.
