Don't threaten me with a good time

Greeneville, TN

« on: July 25, 2012, 05:42:29 PM »

Been busy with studying for summer semester finals so I'm a bit delayed. I couldn't make it to Inzane this year with summer classes in the way. So i decided to take a trip to Memphis to meet everyone gearing up for Eureka Springs.

I left Friday evening from Carbondale in beautiful 100 degree weather and headed south to meet Mac (Crazyhorse) and Tom (Wingman) In Cumberland Furnace Tennessee. A big thanks to these fellers and there wife's (Kat and Joyce)  for putting me up for the night. Can't thank you two enough for a great time and great food. Tom should star in his own cooking show, man that feller is a grilling master. Once again I appreciate the hospitality.

Packed and Ready

Doesn't get any better than these two. Thanks Tom and Mac.

Tom next to his future Valk. It's one sharp looking bike

Took this video as Mac lead us to the meeting ground near Fairview TN

Met up with some fellow Valk riders at the flying J truck stop

When the group arrived in Memphis we decided to take a cab to Beale Street and have some world famous ribs and the Rendezvous Grill House

I didn't take very many photos this trip as my phone battery decided to keep dying. But I did scratch something off my bucket list. I got to party in downtown Memphis in my bibbers. I Really got some stares around them city folk  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Good luck on the finals.  I went to college and got my degree after getting out of the army, and know what your going through.  It really puts a crimp in your social life, but is well worth the effort.  It'll pay off in the long run.  Thanks for the ride report, looks like a good time.  Now get back to the books! Good report Reb!  Beale Stret is always a blast!  Wish I could have been there.  In lew of going to Inzane, I made a loop around the Cherohala, The Dragon and Foothills Parkway on Monday.  But it just wasn't the same as riding with the Wild Bunch to Inzane!
Good luck with the tests!
