Fresh restore of a 1982 CB1100R, canadian model, not sold in the US, 20% more power than CB1100F in US. Qwner would not trade for my other Valk parked beside it. Hoser

Nice bike. Would finding parts for it be a problem or very expensive?

Had an 'F', don't think I'd care for another one.
Good bike, don't get me wrong, but the riding stance on it sucks.

I had two 900F's. I don't want to go back. Both were extremely hard starting during cold weather.
The Valkyrie does it right. My Vstrom does it right. The only 'old' bike that I'd go back to is the Triumph Bonneville and then only the new ones with disc brakes and injection.

Hoser, you might be a little bit of a "sea captain" look going on that bike, but it does look good under you. did you get to take it around the block at all?

Yerah I rode it, a rocket ship imho. Faster than a CB1100F, and they are plenty fast. I've rode one of those too in my youth. My friend that owns it has a couple CBX's too. That's all he rides,Vintage Honda performance bikes for fun and a Beemer for touring. One of the Romeo old guys. Hoser http://www.romeoriders.com/forums/

For a minute there I thought it was Popeye the sailor man on the old Honda? ???
I think keeping the Valk over that speed demon was a wise choice the other gent missed his opportunity for sure.

I would have traded that Standard I was riding that day, but I'm keeping this one forever!
