My sister found out this week that she has cancer.  The good news is that it hasn't spread and the Dr. thinks it can be treated with Chemo and radiation, which she starts next week.  If you are so inclined, please join me in praying for good results.  Thank you.

Here is a picture of my mother and her children at her 80th birthday party a couple years ago.  Susan is next to me in the purple blouse.  The picture was taken on Sue and her husband's farm in PA.

Prayers from Mass on the way.  I have a couple of friends that went through the whole regimen... They beat it down, and it sure was a fight.  Good luck to her.  Prayers and a good, positive outlook go a long way.

Joe,
I'm sorry to say I am just now getting around to reading this. I will be praying for Susan and her family. That is a great family picture on the farm...I love the old PA. dry stack stone walls. I think this is the first time i have seen you without a shaved head.

Thanks Terry,

The picture was taken in October, at my mother's 80th birthday party about 5 years ago.  Every fall, I start growing my hair out in preparation for the spring shave off for St. Baldricks.  My goal every year is to grow a REALLY BAD comb over, but I don't have enough time before shave off time.  You only see me during riding season, when I'm sportin' my low drag hairdo.
