Cruise control that is,,, I tried the inexpensive route, throttle lock "Vista Cruise" I think it was got it from local Cycle Gear store. I liked the one I had on my old 78 GL1000, but this one just did not fit the way I thought it should so back it went. Now last week was my Birthday and I was having a bad day and my Loving wife felt bad for me and said just buy the one that will work, so I got online and orderd the AudioVox unit from Amazon.com and ended up getting it for $86 bucks no tax no shipping.

Now I gotta find the time to install it and get used to it before I go to Vegas for Bike fest, might as well do the desmog finally now that I am gonna be in there.

their is a few people that did installs listed here.. when i did mine  or should i say the one on my wifes is ..it was slow but pain less the control pot mounts in the fairing on the left side while sitting on the bike . i grabed the brake light signal from the plug on the right side of the fairing just used a test light to find it ya dont poke the wires just slide it in the plug and squeeze the front brake handle until it lights .. i did not pull the tank or carbs or airbox on the two valks i did.. no need to i ran an small chunk of dot air hose under the gas tank and ran my power and coil wires threw it . i cut the noise choke off and resoldered it back on  combined the gray red orange wires and made the power connections under the right side cover .i threw away their  fuse holder and picked up a mini blade type that is  sealed .. the best tools you can have is a long magnet and two pair of long neddle nose plyers one bent one straight {harbor freght } i did not use the plug that go's to the handlebar controls i stager cut and soldered and heat srinked the wires {stager cutting keeps the solder joints from all being in the same spot so you can hide them easy} the main part og the how to i used the one from here http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/cruise-control.htm and i uploaded a few of the linkage pic  here i am going to repaint the bike in the next weeks so i hope to take better pic then  hope this is of some help
