I'm looking to replace my radiator hose with a chrome looking one.  Does anyone know what width and or length it is?

I'm looking at something like this...  http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Mr-Gasket-2-pcs-24-in-stainless-steel-G-sport-G-flex-radiator-hose-with-chrome-caps-includes-1-1-8-to-1-3-4-in-adapter/_/N-257w?itemIdentifier=536916_0_0_

Does anyone have other options or thoughts on what you have done?

That kit comes with adapters for size. The largest size is 1 3/4" . That size hose might look way too large on the front of the bike.

I bought  something very similar to that, from a fellow valk rider, off this board.

Never could get it to work right, the pipe wouldn't bend enough to look right and when the engine/pressure built up to operating temp, it leaked.

It's sitting on the shelve and I put the OEM back on.

Been looking into a new chrome hose myself. If I remember correctly the length is 12 inches and 1.25 inches in diameter (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Came across the web site below. They have some very interesting hoses available in a variety of colors and finishes.

I ended up getting the Spectre 20" Universal kit http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Spectre-20-in-Magna-Kool-coolant-hose-kit-includes-hose-ends/_/N-257w?itemIdentifier=710425_0_0_ from Pepboys.  The hose is 14-15" long and I think 1" wide.  The kit comes with adapters to use, but only goes down to 1 1/4.  So, what I ended up doing is cutting 2" sections off the OEM hose, and using them as further adapters.
Filled it up, ran it around for a bit, let it set for a while and just checked for leaks on the floor and all looks good so far.  I will keep tabs on it and update if needed.
