Here's a link for this topic from tech board.  There is a goldwing part that can be easily modded to work.  For the valkyrie there is no repair except the entire wiring harness.

If I remember correctly it was RJ that came up with that fix.. He shows it everytime there is a problem,, so,, he'll probably answer as soon as  he sees it.. I'd like to see the part numbers too..
