I've got a Falken Sincera 205-65-16 Radial car tire on the rear
of my 98 Tourer.

http://www.falkentire.com/Tires/Passenger-Car/Sincera-Touring-SN211-16

Yesterday I put a Shinko 150-80-17 Tour Master 230
Bias motorcycle tire on front.

http://www.shinkotireusa.com/product/product.php?id=21

After about 150 miles, the pair work together very well, straights,
curves, hard accel., hard decel., and high speed up to 115mph.

I'm liking it. The least I've ever spent for two tires.

If you've been riding for 3 hours and find yourself still in your driveway, blame it on the Sincera's asymmetric tread pattern making you go in circles   cooldude

I do like the looks of the Shinko, though.

Suppose you meant that as a joke, but in case serious, the asymetric
has zero effect on handling.
Damn good tire.

When I look under the bike, I can see enough height in the swingarm
to possibly squeeze a '70' series in there at 205 wide.

I believe Shinko picked up Yokahama's motorcycle tire line. Since Shinko doesn't have the name recognition that Yokahama does they sell em cheap. I ran Shinko's for years on a sports bike, and loved saving $$$ every time I bought one. I am excited to hear they are making a front tire to fit the Valk.

@ csj - I'm running a Goodyear 205-60 on the rear. She barely fits, but hasn't ever rubbed. I don't see a 70 fitting in there.

Somebody on this forum ran a 70 a while back.  He said it took some mods getting it in there.  I run a 60 but would go 65 if I could find one at the scrap yard where I buy mine.

Yep,  $37.50. I check them out real good and they all looked new. I had one blow from a hunk of metal I ran over but have got over 20k from the last 2.

Yeah, I run an h rated Kenda on the front. Had good results with the last one and this one is doing better because I'm checking the pressure more frequent. I think I paid around $80 delivered to the door.  They are $72 on Jake Wilson

This is exactly what i have. I have about 400 miles on it so far on the front, and about 5000 on the back, so far these are great together.

Having ridden an asymmetrical Continental Vanco for 32,6XX miles and recently replacing it with the Falken Ziex 512 in 205/65, I will say your comment about "zero effect on handling" is probably not correct.  It's not way wrong by any means, but it's just not completely correct.  I had great success with my Vanco, but the roads I ride every day feel much better and have less "personality" now that I'm riding a symmetrical tread.
