ABATE of MI R14 is comprised of mostly VRCC members (HD's are OK too).
We still have a few rooms available in St. Ignace MI.
We are gathering at the "Speedway" fuel station (in Hartland) at M59 and US23 at 8:00 AM, we will be gone at 8:45 AM
We are going north along th Lake Huron coastline to Macinaw City and across to St. Igance, check into our rooms (the entire hotel) and go out for some local fare (like Whitefish?) and still have time to relaxe and gather ourselves for the follows days adventures.
The Upper Peninsula is home to the worlds largest organism (a fungus really), but if lighthouses, waterfalls, beautiful shorelines, deep woods, and such, this may be your motorcycle trip.
We will be in the Traverse City Sunday night because we are coming back homeward on the Lake Michigan side.
We will burning asphalt Monday so that we can return to our hum-drum lives for Tuesday.
