Hi,
Just had her painted and want to put on the tank emblems. All the old tape has been peeled off the back of the enblems. My emblems are for a 2000 standard ( long head with wing). Where can I get the exact oem tape pieces to re-attach the emblems?
Thanks,
giff

Just get 3M tape for moldings, emblems etc. Should be at any auto parts store, especially the ones that sell automotive paint.

I have used the 3M tape multiple times with great success. Tank emblems 3 or 4 times, they hold great without an issue.

I think mine was the thin 3M Brand and bought it in an Ace Hardware store. It had a red peel away backing, very strong and thin.
