Bought a CB radio from Pinwall, shipped yesterday. I have an IS so controls aren't a problem. Went to my most trusted dealer to order an antenna, and it's discontinued (and $150 if it wasn't, whoa!). So, what is the best antenna for a CB radio on a Valk IS? Firestick? J&M? Can you still get a Zero ground? What are you using and how does it work?
Thanks, Fred.

I've had great results using the FM antenna on my Interstate  with a y splitter that i purchased at Radio nShack. One antenna for both cb and fm radios.  Replacement folding antennas are vailable at Wing Stuff

This mount looks like the IS mount too.

thats the same. i you do a search on antenna mounts you'll find a few threads spelling out how to modify the 1200 mount for your Valk.

I have the right side radio antenna mount. Broke the antenna so could probably use that. Thanx, all.

There is an angle to the mount so if you reverse them you'll have a pronounced lean angle to your antenna.
