Days will probably be OK, but morning and evenings will be cool.

Some of those pics were taken in September, so its obviously colder then.

At Frisco, which is right at 9000 ft elevation, you might need some long sleeves in the early morning and evening. I wore shorts the whole time at ground zero in 2006, like I always do.   At 12k plus, it can be a bit cooler. A riding jacket, chaps or equivalent will be fine most of the time.

The great thing about Colorado, at least at elevation, its nice and cool in July.  That sun is bright tho, so bring your sunscreen!

We visited my parents in Phoenix AZ and drove right through that area three years ago.  Anyone that was contemplating going, do it, it's the most beautiful section of Colorado you can ever see!!

North side of Berthoud Pass, and not far from ground zero.

Well Scott, ya got me all fired up with your pics! I find myself scoping Google
earth, Streets & Trips, and my GPS, all at once! I see some great riding in my future!! cooldude
Now I just have to decide weather to go up early and have some pre-Inzane riding time, arriving on Wed. for the start of the festivities, or staying late, or, or, or------!

I SO wish I could go, but alas it's not in the cards (Er... budget) this year... But, here's a few pics from my solo trip through Colorado a few years back...

Had to switch the GPS to Metric, in feet the number was too high and it freaked out!

Yeah... Bring warm clothes... This trip was in JULY!

It was actually snowing on me... IN JULY!!!

Never know WHO you'll see on the side of the road!

One of my all time favorite pics of my bike:

Yep... Warm clothes... Definitely bring warm clothes!

Remember, the locals get right of way!

Those of ya'll going, enjoy, have a good time and ride safe! Take lots of pics, I'll hafta live through your pics vicariously this year!
