NEVER BE DEFEATED; STARS AND STRIPES, FOREVER!

Lewisville, TX

« on: August 13, 2012, 06:56:35 PM »

Greetings, fellow Valkyrie enthusiasts and aficionados:

I completed three of four farkeling projects tonight, with the fourth to be completed tomorrow night.

1) Additional auxiliary 55 watt set H3 lights by Custom Chrome, and additional Rick Doss Custom Chrome amber turn signals:

The pig tails still in the pic are for the Rick Doss turn signals - will have them completed Tuesday night.

3) Light bar by XF6 Design:

4) Utopia backrest for the Valkyrie:

Really looking forward to trying them out soon.

Hope everyone out there is having a good week; ran into Disco and family on last Saturday morning at the Ft. Worth BMW shop, too….

Those lights look great on Enterprise - bet they will help with people seeing you as well.  The backrest - a mandatory item for a Valkyrie, IMHO.

The 2001 Black/Maroon Interstate is my favorite color combo, even more so than my blue/silver.  However, in Arlington, Cowboy colors are a nice thing to have.

Nice floor, by the way.  Looks like a future Wrench Party location  Evil

I like the lights, but you can probably tell by the landing lights on mine that I'm a big fan of extra light. Good to see you at the BMW dealer and meet some of your riding buddies.  Enterprise is looking good.

Hi, all:

Well, as luck would have it (aaaaaargh), I am still at work in our Dallas office, and taking a break while I finish dinner.  No wiring of farkels, tonight.

Appreciate the kudos - love my bike.

Also, I will post a year-old video of my garage-majal project on a follow up thread.  Like Enterprise, our garage is the culmination of many, many years of thought and prep.

Once the heat comes out of the stratosphere, like in January >LOL<, we'll see what we can do to have a Saturday wrench party at my place.
