Anyone know the correct way of removing the two bracket?hangers that the OEM windshield bolt to? I want to try installing memphis shades brackets and test fit a fairing, and I do not want to destroy them in the process.
Thanks,
Bill

I just added a new-to-me OEM shield to my Std. IIRC, the two upper mounts are held in place by one bolt each that screw up into (underneath) the top part of the triple tree.

The bottom bracket is held in place by two bolts that screw into the lower triple tree, directly behind the bottom of the headlight.

Hope that helps!

That will work. I bought a Woody's fairing and when I got home late last night, I didn't really spend too much time looking it over. Will head out now to check it out. Thanks a bunch,
Bill
