If you want technical advice, give us a bit more information.

Finding a good technician at a Honda dealer may be a bit harder. I'm sure there may be other Florida VRCC members that may be able to help or at least steer you in the right direction.

If its that.....it would be easy.........is it that Firedawg?  Ill tell you if its leaking from the petcock.......Id rather put on a new one than fix that OEM.......fix the old one and thats not the end, its usually the beginning of fixing it until you replace it anway

Agreed. 3 fixes in a year and a half. Got sick and tired of that, installed a Pingle and done for life.

Chris,

The oil leak appears to be low on the left hand side ...the fuel leak I think is on the upper right hand side...I am a parts changer...not a mechanic...I was going to take a ride and burn up some gas so I take the gas tank off to see if I could find the fuel leak...then the damn oil started POURING out...very fruststarting...Poor bike doesn't get rode

Chris if you wanna take ride to Mexico/St. Joe Beach and take a look at my bike...I will buy dinner/oysters/beer
My parents live in Crestview.

Sounds like you are about to get er done. These guys on the board can definitely hook you up.
I love that area you live in. My wife and I discovered Mexico Beach a few years ago and loved it. We drove all around that area just amazed at the lack of tourists swarming around. It was very nice to visit and relax. I was supposed to go diving, but the weather acted up pretty bad and did not go. Love to go back some day. I've gotten off subject.......glad you are getting the fat girl fixed up, good luck. Smiley

I lived in Topeka for 8 years or so when I was a kid... lived in the Chalet Apts over by Gage Park. Jeeze, I can't believe I even remember that... it's been over 40 years. The thing I remember most about Topeka is how freaking cold it was in the winter.

I was a pretty new firefighter then, used to take my baby girl riding on the little train in Gage park, and fishing in the pond. Ice skated on the lake too and played a ton of rec league softball there too.

I can't count the times my buddies and I fished in that little pond (that seemed pretty big to a little kid) with the island in the middle... we used to catch perch by the dozen... we used to catch crayfish in the little stream nearby too.

I looked on Google satellite view maps and though they've since added on to the apartments, the one we lived in looks exactly as it did 40+ years ago. I can see the tree I used to fish under at the pond.

Nostalgia indeed...

Terry Smith is a good guy and is a talented and well versed Honda mech, but I had to tell him about the third o-ring in the spines.....he thought there was only two.

mchapman.....you from around here?

btw Jeff......I might can ride over with you at the end of next week if that's when firedawg is ready if ya want (working midnights starting tonight untill next week).
