I would like to find a Valkyrie owner in my neck of the woods that has a Ultimate seat and would not mind me taking a look. I live outside of Waxahachie and look for any excuse to jump on my Valk and ride.

Recommend you check for the next ride (probably the 20th) and join in as there are a lot of riders in the group with Ultimates, including me. Not sure who would live near Waxahachie. Our monthly meeting is tonite in Grapevine, 7:00-9:00PM at Joe's Crab Shack.

Good point about the meeting tonight, Rainmaker. Magilla, if that doesn't work for you, I have a 4-piece on order that is currently re-scheduled for delivery Monday 15 Sept. We could get together post-Ike.

I figure this is a good place to ask this: Anyone tried both the bigboy and ultimate bigboy? Which one did you go with? I could go with either based on my height, weight and inseam...just wondering HOW different they are. The backrest for the ultimate is annoying that it has to be unbolted...but I can live...I've not taken the one off I have on now. Thanks! Drew

I live in Terrell and ride on Corbins. You would be welcome to come up, take a sit, and how bout a ride, too? Will be at the meeting tonight if you make it you can try them then. Don't know how different Corbins and Ultimates are but you are welcome to compare. Larry

I have the rider backrest on my Ultimate and it does not need to be unbolted - it just slides in a channel and then you pop it to get it back out.
I have the Ultimate BigButt seat. I've heard the KingButt seat sits a lot higher but never actually sat on one. The one I have is very comfortable for my big butt. It far exceeds the standard Interstate seat.
I have ridden on a Mustang seat and it was OK but not as comfortable as the Ultimate. In fact, my son took my stock Interstate seat and put it on his tourer in place of the Mustang seats and likes it better. Beats me.
