Thanks to BuffaloBill for providing me with a room to stay (better than a couch for sure),
Left Ossining in heavy rain at 6am and made it to the Silo in Queensbury (exit 19 northway) by 915. Chowed down on some quality eats and left with PaulXX (97 standard), Byron (wing) and BuffaloBill (some kind of valk) for points west and north passing Lake George, Saranac Lake, Long Lake, Tupper Lake and finally ending up in Lake Placid before riding south to Lake George. The Adirondack Mountains are a real nice area.
Canada street with tens of thousands of bikes riding by is an experience Lake George has kids, families and bikers of all ages and with all kinds of bikes. No crime tons of cops and perfect weather this year.
Friday I rode a terrific bike the 900 KTM Adventure for 45 minutes, a 1700 Nomad( didnt like it) and a can am Spyder (if I had even ridden an atv or snowmobile before I think I would have enjoyed it more) Glad to be able to say I rode one but I wont be back on it. Bought the J&M right before the expo closed last nite, for my full face shoei helmet and rocked to tunes all the way home today
VALK JUDGING saw Two of the 2001 RubyRed and Black Interstate bikes. One had gold wing armrests for the passenger and used forward controls for the passenger footpegs very creative but he lost to the other R&B which was probably not ridden as much as it had No rust anywhere or pitting on any chrome which is damn near impossible in NE. I gave em both the site addy so maybe we will have some new blood soon
Today I met fathertime BigD Little D SS and his fiance and 8 other bikes for his ribs ride. I went with them for an hour to rt 22 and then went south to ride back home which took another 4+ hours with no stops. Got 38mpg from Lake George to rt 23 in Hillsdale before taking 3 gallons. I suspect the mileage went down as I was riding over 3300 on the tach all the way home on the Taconic

which has a 55 speed limit and many speed traps
A great couple of days and good to see old friends, especially a bunch of NE folks Larry, Crazy Miles and Bev, Shorty, Paul and some others who I will remember after I post this
Only missed Jr due to riding home. See you in the chat jr hope you met the group in NH or VT today I got your message on my cell when I got home
