I am getting ready to have my local shop install Progressive spings on my Interstate next week. I have read most of the archives concerning this maintenance but I am still unsure on how much oil to add so that it is not as harsh riding as some people have stated. Also, why does one tube take more than the other?? Thanks for your help!

I put in what the manual said. By measuring, not by weight. Ones that do it by weight say about 1 ounce less each.
Because there is different mechanics in each tube, so need different oil amounts.
