ALL

I have read some of the topics on rear speakers. My question is, I have put in rear
speakers and am not sure how to wire them up to the radio. I have a 99 I/S and everthing is stock as far as I know. There is one wire ( other than the antenna) running back to the truck that ends with a Male RCA style jack. Any pics or help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are the speakers I/S specific?  Did they come with a wire harness?  The plug you are looking for is behind the right side cover.  If your speakers came with the wire harness, you can look for the matching plug.

They did not come with a wire harness.

All I/Ss come with wiring that ends in a terminal. It should be near the right side rear fender strut. The OEM speakers also come with wiring that plugs into the terminal that I just spoke of. With OEM speakers, it's literally just "plug and play". cooldude

I believe Electrical Connection sells the Interstate Rear Speaker wiring harness, this will give you the correct plug. Behind the right side cover is a black 4 pin square connector, this is the rear speaker connection.
Hope this helps
