Hello everyone, I notice my 2000 Interstate wobbles on the side stand. When I put the kickstand down and put the bike weight on it. I also notice the stand has play at the pivot bolt. With the bike upright I can notice play ( I can reach down and move the stand up and down, in other words make the bike lean more and less). Other bikes I have owned have no wobble room. Is this play normal or is the bolt or bolt hole in the kickstand wore out? Worries me! Thanks. Also is any one having trouble with this website? I keep having to sign in and the site lets me look a while then doesn't know me again????

Not normal. Crawl around with it up on a lift and check the bolt.

Check the cross member of the frame that it's mounted to. It is the thinnest wall tube in the entire MC frame. The welding of this tube to the frame is often less than one would expect on so fine a machine.
