Can anyone ID these hard bags?
«

Does anyone have any info about or know the maker of the hard bags on this Valk? I've never seen bags like this, but I think they look pretty good on the Valk and would like to know more about them. This bike is for sale on craigslist in Louisville, KY...
While I'm at it, those colored (yellow) fork inserts are cool, too. Does anyone know where those might come from?

I believe they are discontinued Champion bags, made before the ones that mimic the Honda bags. If looks like the left one is mounted higher than the right.

I have been looking hard at that bike. Think a woody fairing would go great with it. Those bags are alot smaller than oem bags but they do look good.

Yep, those are the smaller champions. I had the Champion Patriot Bags on my '97 Standard.
Extremely well made bags, just pricey.

Thanks, everyone for the answers! I never would have been able to ID those bags myself.
They are pretty pricey, now that I followed that link to sideroadcycles.com, but they fit the lines of the Valk well. Good to know for future reference.
I'm now thinking that those fork inserts must be some kind of home-made thing... If anyone knows any different about that, hopefully they'll chime in here...
Thanks, again!

I have a set of those that came, not installed ,with my 2000 standard. I was wondering what brand they were. The ones I have had some scratches,so I had started the refinishing, but as yet have not finished them.
With my leather wrapped Woody, I put some leather bags on.
