I installed the Electrical Connection LED conversion for on my 98 tourer and i want to replace the
relay as i have seen on here that load equalizers create alot of heat. Is it possible to pick one up
at an auto parts store? Is a 2 pin or 3 pin relay? Or any other ideas out there as i'm leaving soon
for a 2-3 week trip next Sat. and i would like to have it  working by then and might not have time to
order it. Thanks Bill   You leave the bulbs in the socket   uglystupid2  uglystupid2

I used this one from Custom Dynamics, (the standard flasher): http://www.customdynamics.com/trick_flasher.htm#Standard_DOT_Flasher
How fast they could get it to you is a good question.
Good luck

I used that one also and had it less than a week after ordering it.

Sometimes I just don't understand things. People go out and buy Back Off for the tail light and a unit for the flashing head light. And when people get a safety device dropped in there lap, they want to change so called normal, and blend into the background. My point is when you are driving down the road and see a police car with it flasher on a long way off, it gets your attention correct. The objective on the bike is not to get run over.  So why do you want to slow down the flashing from LED's, and blend into the background, the point is to get peoples attention specially people behind us. One of our biggest enemies are cell phones specially the texters. Generally speaking when unusual actions accrue, generally it gets our attention, so if I don't have a turn signal that blinks so called normal maybe it will save my A$$. Just my opinion !! Ride safe!!!!!

When the leds are flashing that fast they don't have the time to come to full brightness they are basically flickering.  The idea behind slowing them down is to make them more visible.

One of the 1st things I add to a bike when I get it .
A Signal Dynamics Back Off and headlight modulator.
Id turn my bike into a christmas tree if I could.
Ive had folks on both sides of the road at lights tell me"do you know your head lights flashing??"
I tell them thanks and glad it annoyed you enough to notice it.
Thats its intended purpose,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I havent had to use an equalizer on any of my bikes yet.
I have 2 sitting in my spare parts cabinet.
The Valks fine with all regular bulbs.
I made the rear turn signals into running lights/turn signal.
The RoadStars fine with LED run/turn and  LED brake lights.
The head light is a PIAA halogen bulb on both bikes.
