I did not get many pics. It was chaos. 2 un RSVP'd valk boys... Scooby and Rainman showed. OK... they were Maybes, and with it so cold, I wrote them off.
All you boys are bad ass getting out and riding today. 35 this AM.
Sorry I didnt get more photos. i was too busy giving advice to run the picture machine.
I think everyone is good to go.
Blackrams had a fuel pump issue. Did he get that working? I tried calling him but no answer.
Jabba
Thanks for the soup compliment. If you want the recipe, let me know.

Just wanted to say thanks to John and Lori for their hospitality. Could there be a better combination than Valkyries, tools and good company?
Thanks again,

Jabba, First, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed to today and the wealth of knowledge present in that garage was first class. Thanks for a bunch for everything. Yep, had a fuel pump issue but, don't think it was the pump. I believe it was the relay. Gonna look further into that tomorrow. Right now, I'm gonna eat a steaming bowl of hot chili to warm my core back up. Got a bit cool on the ride home. Thanks again. Ron

Glad you made it home Ron. I tried calling and when you didn't answer... I figured you had it covered.
Everyone is welcome. It was my sincere pleasure. You guys all saw my garage guest room. If you ever need a place to crash... I offer discounts to VRCC folks. 30% off the regular rate of $0.
Ron, sorry I didn't get to spend a little more direct time with yours. With the belly tank... It was a totally new approach, with the OVER the exhaust approach that Scooby showed us. huh? Who knew?

Jabba, It worked and that's all I can say. Twas a bit cool that last hour on the road. Gotta find that short or broken connection on that fuel pump. I know some folks don't like that belly tank but, even with the little hassel I had today, I'm glad I've got it. That just isn't any fun. Will get that Multimeter back to you soon. Thanks again. Ron

First and foremost I want to thank Jabba for, what I'm calling, the awesome-soup we had for lunch. We want the recipe! It was nice too, that he and his family opened their shop and home to us. It was a great time of learning and laughing. Here's a few photos of the event. https://picasaweb.google.com/100053577447958306703/GreenwoodINWrenchParty?authuser=0&feat=directlinkLook me up on Facebook ( Tim Hopkins) for a better view of the panoramic, or I guess I could share it with the VRCC group too. It was great to see many of you again and meet some new folks.

Some purty scoots there, looks like a sweet time, (though I think I saw some smoke in the air from all that thinkin).. Hope every one got the same tires back that they started with. Very cool to see folks helping each other out.

Hey Jabba, So, when I told that other "Nuclear Sailor" that you were NOT a DICK I was right. I guess this once again proves it. I wish that I were not over a thousand miles away from you. Seriously, it's great to see the camaraderie of the people on this site.

That's a great idea where it's possible. Bandwidth would have a lot to do with it. Out in the country I doubt it would be enough for any video feed. Even the 1Mbps up that most cable providers give is barely enough. It was pretty noisy when everyone talking so there would have to be a single instructor that's mic-ed. It could be done on the cheap, but highly depends on the location.

Kapusta
Brown 2 lbs of ground sausage in a large stock pot.
add:
1 large head of cabbage diced (or a very large shred) 1 big jar of sour kraut 1 stick of butter 1 large onion 2 cans of butter beans blended 1 large can of cream of mushroom soup mushrooms (I like fresh portabellas) salt pepper
cover with water and cook until the sausage is soft enough to eat.
Add some powdered mashed potatoes to thicken the soup.
If you want a little more sour... add a little white vinegar.
Salt and pepper to taste.
