Hi Guys,
Im travelling and need help.  I am noticing my bike is idleing high, like 1.5 RPM. Just started doing this, and I am in Utah on a road trip in a motel no manual with me.  Where can I find the idle adjusent screw?  PLEASE HELP.

It is between the front two carbs, on the right side as you sit on the bike. It's not a screw, it's a knob with raised flutes. You have a vacuum leak somewhere. Just an opinion with experience cooldude

Thanks Mitch.  I got to thinking, before I left Colorado I washed the bike and used an air compressor to dry it.  I'm guessing I blew the idle knob up a bit.  Pretty noticable at stops with 6-into-6 pipes!

Could be the difference in the air density where you live and where you are now.

umm....I don't think I'd worry about 1.5 RPM.

I don't even know how you could tell a 1.5 RPM raise in idle.  You must really be one with your bike.  Wink

I am already starting to feel like it is becoming an extension of my body.  I think the idle increase was more noticeable to me because of the 6-into-6 pipes on my Dragon.  It was getting even more attention than usual at stop lights.
