I purchased a new to me Ultimate seat for my I/S that didn't come with the mounting bolts.  The way the seat mounts, the passenger pillion is separate from the rider's seat.  The passenger pillion has a rear bracket that fits under the head of the bolt that mounts the rear lower fender to the rear fender and then the front bracket mounts to the 2 threaded bolt holes in the rear fender.  I looked up the installation instructions on the Ultimate seat website and it says it uses 6 mm bolts to mount the front of the passenger pillion.  I bought some 6 mm bolts yesterday, but they're too small, they go right into the holes without catching.  Today, I bought some 8 mm bolts which are too big to go into the holes.  Anyone know what size bolts I need to get?  The Ultimate installation guidelines are here:  http://www.ultimateseats.ca/pdf/InterstateComboInstallation.pdf

Please help me get this seat on my bike!!!  Thanks in advance.

You need an M6-1x12mm button head screw.

Lowe's, Menard's or one of the bigger hardware chains should have them in stock. As will a number of online fastener companies.

Or you could try calling Des. It's likely that he'll ship a few to you for asking.
