Assuming it runs well when warm, I would say the the carb enricheners are choking a little rich on that side.  Pretty normal IMHO.  Won't hurt a thing.  Hoser   cooldude

Your initial question was worded pretty badly.  If no exhaust was being expelled from the left bank cylinders that would indeed be a problem.

If you want good answers you need to ask good questions.  You see a little smoke out of one side and not the other but both sides are emmitting exhaust.  Smoke (just a small amount) on one side...yes that would be quite normal since many things that can affect a bit of smoke (especially when cold) are not common to both sides......

Sometimes I soflty cover the the openings of all the pipes with my hands when I first crank it up to feel if the pressure is the same on both sides and if the temperature rises together

Could be a problem. I drove 300 miles to look at a low mileage bike at a Harley dealership that only had a couple of thousand miles. Got there and the bike was sitting in the back , a little dusty but a sweet yellow and creme example. Told them we needed to crank it up and ride it before we did the paperwork and rode it home. Bike fired right up but did not sound right. I only rode it around in the parking lot but after getting off only the left side pipes were hot, the right side was ice cold. Harley dealer said it ran good to them!!!. We didn't bring a trailer so no dickering  past that point. On one other bike that I know of where this happened, it was a faulty Dyna 3000 box.

With 6 into 6 pipes I had no exhaust steam coming out of 2 of the 6 pipes.  It also had a low speed miss. Ended up those 2 cylinders had clogged slow jets.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Put your hands over the outlet of the exhaust and see if the exh air is the same temp.
