Just found out that there’s going to be a “Goldwing Rally” at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds at 2 o’clock today and is suppose to last till night fall! Yes I know that’s not much of a notice, but if anyone lives in the area, and they want to “crash the party” I’ll be there and I’d love to see any other Valkyries show up!!

Hey Black Dogg, I went to that Goldwing get together and found out that it’s all weekend!! And of course, this is my weekend to work!!!
On Friday, June 12th
10am, rides (I assume around the Chippewa valley area)
12- lunch, you provide
3pm- Battle of the states
5-6pm web training
6:30 opening ceremonies
7:30 Dirty Bingo- “?”
9 Movie Night, “Wild HOGS”
Saturday, 13th
7-10 breakfast
9- bike blessing and family of the year?
10 till 2 classes and registrations
2-bike show
3:15 Dirty bingo
4:15 Auction
7-Awards ceremony
8:30 Ice cream and Light show
9:15 Campfire
Sunday, 14th
Church service, & good byes…..

Also, the guy said that Valkyrie’s are gladly welcome!! He also said it was a very sad day when they stopped making them. I asked if there were any other Valkyries that had registered and he said no. I can’t believe I’m the only one in the area!! |

I went to one of the GW get togethers a few years ago, with Tom Huff, from Westfield... It was OK, but nothing like one of the VRCC shindigs  The one we went to was around Madison, and like I said, pretty low key. Gimme one of the Michigan's Misguided Rides, or the CBR, or an InZane event, any day Black Dog |

A fellow Valk-rider in Eau Claire?? Amazing! I have been on the VOAI forum for a while now, and was just referred here by MP saying that there was another Valk-riding Eau Claire-dweller here. Good stuff! I'll try to make it up to Chippewa sometime Saturday, but have family in town and don't know if I'll make it or not.
Either way, we should get together sometime for a ride.

YOU'VE GOT A VALKYRIE AND YOU LIVE IN EAU CLAIRE!!
I’ve seen a black and red Valkyrie by UWEC next to the fine arts building this summer, is that yours?
That’s the only other one I’ve ever seen in this area.
Did you notice my profile picture? Does the Paul Bunyon and Abe the ox look familiar? Down in Carson Park.
Working this weekend, busy all next week, if you want to go riding next Wednesday’s or Thursday the 24th and 25th are my next open days.

Yeah, that red and black standard at UWEC is mine. I recenlty saw a black valk going down Vine, but other than that, nada.
I'm available most any day after 1, just let me know when and where and I'll be there. Looking forward to it!
