Does anyone here have experience with a brand of brake pads called:

Gold Fren ?

http://www.goldfren.cz/material-moto-ad.htm

I haven't tried them yet, but they can be purchased for about 1/2 the price of OEM.

I've tried EBC's and didn't like them.

I'm thinking that for the price I'll give these a try...... But I thought that I'd see what anyone here might have to say about them.

I tried OEM pads with EBC rotors.  They squealed really bad -- even after 3,000 miles.  Then tried EBC pads with EBC rotors.  They still squealed, but mostly when wet.  By the way, the EBC rotors seemed to form a layer of rust fairly quickly after they got wet and were not used.  I mean about 20 minutes.  My current tourer has only 14,000 miles, but my plan, when I need to, is to keep the brakes OEM.

That is weird, EBC rotors and EBC pads and they squeal.......   I must be damn lucky in life with MGM.

He has had EOM rotors and EOM pads, these came from the factory.

Next set was EOM rotors and EBC pads, never did have a squeal.

Then I  pulled the stupidest tricks in my life.    I had a disc lock on.

Replaced the rotors with EBC and EOM pads, no Squeal, shade poorer stopping.

Then It was EBC rotors and EBC pads,    NO squeal in about 40,000 miles, and yes, I will be putting a new set of EBC pads on MGM in the coming week..  The ones there now are getting pretty thin.

So, I'd like to know what the 7734 you do to get em to squeal, when mine and another Valkyrie's don't.

I've learned my lesson when I tried EBC's. Nothing but OEM for me.

EBC Pads and rotors better stopping no noise virtually no fade. As for the surface rust on the rear rotor I agree but its not anywhere near bad and one stop its gone.
