Actually I pulled the wheel and tire. Took it and got new tire put on. I didn't change final drive oil. Did that last year. It did seem that I had a harder time getting the wheel back in the splines this time when reinstalling it.
Just a curious question. Did you loosen the four final drive bolts prior to wheel installation? If not thats a good reason the wheel has harder to get "in there" a loose final drive is easier to work with and also facilitates a better alignment when you torque the axle.
Knowing you didnt mess with the final drive oil.....its time to take it apart again and see whats going on. Order the seal and have it ready, it shouldnt be that hard to replace
