Last night in Africa....Leave out at midnight tomorrow....MAN, AM I READY - 5 weeks down....
Laying off half of my workforce tomorrow (losing half of our rigs in August)....Sure hope I have a job to come back to.....Actually, I have found some loaners for em but the ones I can't, I have to tell them tomorrow (only one or two I haven't found a home for)....Boy Howdy. (And then get a plane and leave - boy yepper.... Ya just gotta love my job when you have to look at a list of folks ya know.....man, I don't even want to relive today, but I went from 7 without homes to 2 (limbo - just waiting for replies from other districts) by the end of the day - long day on phones and emails .....some things "suck and that is all I have to say about that"
Hate to say it, but if things get any worse, I hope my boss puts forth the same effort to keep jobs. Actually, I went from 7 RIF to 5 loaned with 2 in limbo. That is a postive as far as I am concerned.
Man, I leave out of here tomorrow night and spend the night on Sunday in England and get home on Monday evening and do a couple of honey do's and then THURSDAY......HARD6 and I are going on the MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR!!!!!!!!
