Janet and I will meet Speedo, et al, at Montfort & LBJ.

We will need to swing through the Chevron / McDonalds in Grapevine to pick up an old buddy of mine, exhuberant HD Randy.  He'll be ready to roll by 8:45.

JC is in Hot Springs, AR, and will not make the ride to Strawn.

Looking forward to a great ride.  I'm hungry already.

So, what time do you think you will be at J.C.'s to swim/hot tub after the ride? I hope the fridge by the pool is stocked! ~Jeff

I have been requested to take my parents to a funeral for one of their friends and someone that I also knew when I was young.  So I will not be on the ride tomorrow but hope that everyone is safe and has some chicken fried steak for me.

My Valk let me down for the first time on the road today as we headed to Lake Worth to meet for the ride to Strawn.  The ears on the radiator cap were slightly bent causing a break in the seal.  4 miles from the house we got a nice coolant bath.  The cap worked fine until I removed it yesterday to replace the coolant.  When I purchased the bike 2 years ago, the radiator cap had evidence of channel locks being used to remove it.  Apparently the previous owner didn't see the set screw.  I put a chrome cover on it to cover up the ugly cap, but now I will replace the cap as I should have done in the 1st place.

Hope everyone had a good ride.

The chrome cover caused mine to loosen up.  I just bent the ears to make a tighter seal and it's been fine ever since (couple of years now).  Of course with evidence the P.O. mistreated it I don't blame you if you still want to replace it.
