Near Austin, where we've lived for 20 years, our average number of kids that are trickin' or treaten' is about 12.  Had as few as zero, and as many as 46. I planed on 42 last night, and got 3, all girls and cute as could be.

We went over 300 last night and had to turn the lights out at 8:15 when the candy ran out.  8 local kids, the rest trucked in. Literally. Lines of pickup trucks up and down the street. Had 3 bunches of over 25 including the parents with a bucket tHat rushed us.

Same thing... We get lots trucked in, even church buses full of 'em...

My one requirement is that they hafta say "Trick or Treat" in English.

We took the triplets trick or treating for a few houses, left a large bowl with 5 pounds of candy on the porch. Someone decided they needed all of it and dumped the whole bowl into their bag...  Embarrassed I guess I should be thankful they were decent enough to leave the bowl at least...

We have a neighborhood of old people and old people's kids, haven't had a trick or treater in about 20 years. I think that most who have smaller kids, take them to the mall, much more fun.
