I get water when I wash my bike in around the sparkplug and it shorts the plug out is there a drain and if there is where is it? I looked for a drain used compresser to blow it out but it still gets in. I have to take the pod off pull the plug cap off and take a paper towel and get the water out every time I wash my bike !

Yep, there is a drain in each sparkplug hole.  You should be able to take a piece of wire like 20 gauge or so and run it through each drain hole.

You might be able to see it better from underneath. That will give you a better idea of where it's located, but T'bolt is correct....they do have a drain hole.

The OEM sparkplug wires cover the recession the plugs are in.  Do you have aftermarket wires?  Hoser   ???

Stop hitting them with a hose.

Use a leaf blower to remove water before wipe-down.

Yes they cover but not water tight. This is what happens when the weep hole clogs and the plug rusts.Cleaned up OK but still a pain.

Weed whacker string (plastic) works great for unclogging them! A little "Deep Creep" helps too.

Pull another plug boot to see the hole location.

If the valve cover is at 6:00 the hole is at 5:00.

Thanks for sharing those pics, they are "gross".  Kiss  I don't usually turn a hose on my bike, but when I do I'll pay particular attention to blowing out the spark plug holes

My oem wires don't leak, there is a little ridge around the plug hole, the covers snap over them, just jam them on with gusto.  keeping the drain hole clear is important, but I have never seen my plugs look anything like your pics.  I hose wash it all the time, but no power washer used.  coolsmiley Hoser
